Dear snipsnip and Ralle:

The developers tuned some parameters of the transcoding process, resuting a new output movie.

http://www.fame-ring.com/samples/admin/WM.dev.ts

Here is the output of the old parameter set.

http://www.fame-ring.com/samples/admin/WM.135.ts

Could you please try the two movies on your media players and see whether the new one is better?
Thank you very much.

Looking forward to your further message.

Both are still faulty.

Here are my test results for dev.ts:

1 dev.ts analysed with Media Payer Classic Homecinema - v1.3.1249.0 (32 Bit):

1.1 "FAME" apears 3 times.

1.2. Until 00:00:01:920 each frame is merged of 2 frames with appr. 700 ms difference: All footballers are double - look picture dev01.jpg at snipsnip directory on server. At this picture the Media Player Classic hangs at 00:00:01:300. Sometimes every 2nd frame comes in back a frame (e.g. at 00:00:00:360).

2 PowerDVD starts at approx. 00:00:01:9000 (after all errors).

3 Windows Media Player starts after "FAME" with the last faulty frames, approx. 00:00:01:500.

4 Smart Cutter shows the video without faults. It appears as if 2 frames are stored in the video at every time and Smart Cutter would show only one of the two frames.

5 VLC Media Player is like Media PLayer Classic, but it isn't possible to use "frame to frame": 100% artefacts at every frame.

720p.135.ts: The frames 10, 11 and 12 after "FAME" have artefacts.

720p.dev.ts: No artefacts, perfect!

The videos are relatively blurred!

fra.cut.ts tested with Media Player Classic - Home Cinema 32 Bit:

Frame 1 to 33, 35 to 46, 48 to 50 with 'FAME'.
Frame 47 to 98 with artefacts.
At video mode MPC hangs at frame 57.

PowerDVD and Windows Media Player starts after appr. frame 57.

mee.cut.ts: No artefacts.

Hi, sorry for the delay. My results are equal to snipsnips.

720p.dev.ts and mee.cut.ts play flawlessly. All other still have artifacts.

Hi !!

I don't know if the problem same as Ralle however when editing my .ts files I get blocking artifacts at random position.
I have uploaded a file in sample FTP (2011021409040000.ts).
You'll see that when playing/editing inside SmartCutter (tested with v1.3.6) result looks like attached image but when playing with VLC the file no blocking squares presents.
Thanks you for any suggestion. Is this a bug that will be fixed or what could be the reason ?

I just tried (with same .ts uploaded in FTP) and blocking artifacts still here even with 1.3.7. When using the "whole slider" all seems ok but when using "fine slider" then get blocking artifacts.
