SC crashes when playing merged MP4 files
SC and other video player crash when playing merged MP4 files. It appears that this occurs only with small files. Sample files (original files from Sony DCC-HX1) MAH08302.MP4 (small = problem) and MAH08306.MP4 are uploaded to the folder 'snipsnip'. For testing: Merge 2 times the file MAH08302.MP4 or...

Incorrect intersections for MP4 files with v1.4.6
I once again tested smart editor, but unfortunately the version 1.4.6 still contains many errors that I've complained about in the last year, such as the failed creation of the file "vs_fame.ini" (see the attached file "vs_fame.ini.jpg") or here http://www.fame-ring.com/forum/vie...

Re: Smart Cutter 1.3.5 cannot read his own files
We think this issue is related to the stream id, and it should be fixed soon. We will keep you posted about the progress. Dear admin, thanks for your message written 10 weeks ago. Is there still no solution? Perhaps this helps. I have a video recorded of a television broadcast in HDTV as ts-file. T...

Re: Can Smart Cutter fix corrupt time codes?
Ver 1.3.8f: "fix for negative time code in ts" isn't successful! Now problems appear which did not exist with version 1.3.8! I have a new ts-video recorded from TV, size 10,5 GB. SC 1.3.8f shows in the Input Property Len(sec): -89028.7, the time code is (large slider on the right side) 00:...

Re: Where are the converted files stored?
Additional bugs: 1. If a volume contains too little free storage capacity, it seems as if a correct file were produced - the message "Transcoding Complete" appears. However the file size is too small! 2.If a volume doesn't contain any free storage capacity, it seems as if a correct file we...

How is the mode of operation of 'Preview'?
There is an option “Preview”, which would have to work in my opinion in such a way that during the entire time of the conversion the video would have to run. However, this doesn't do it. After starting the conversion the video (length 34 minutes) runs 1 second and jumps then to the end. Afterwards t...

Re: Smart Cutter 1.3.8 - Crashes
Simple fix (for the moment) ... if you've got a big file don't jump too far with the big slider I have tried out your suggestion however without success. Note: The file was converted by Smart Cutter 1.2.8. With the source file there are no problems. See also the new paragraph “Edit” in my first mes...

Bug when producing a batch list
1. In another message to Smart Cutter 1.3.4 I wrote: 'If the order of the batch list is changed by drag and drop, only the lines are moved in the list on the screen. However, "view" shows that the order of the internal list hasn't changed! The order of the video parts in the recorded file ...

Smart Cutter 1.3.8 - Crashes
A converted movie (4.73 GB): I shove the big slider to the right and again back to the beginning. At the attempt to shove the slider to the right once more, SC crashes. Unfortunately I cannot upload the file, since the bug arises only with large files. The bug doesn't appear with files produced with...
