Trying to cut into different files but get one file

I have a file with 4 different segments marked with start and end points but when I hit the red button I get one file with all the segments instead of individual segments. How can I fix this. I tried the batch button but that does not fix it either.

Sure.
As an example, suppose we want to split one video file into two video files(segment 1 and segment 2). Please try below steps:
1.open the movie in Smart Cutter
2.define 'New Start Point' of segment 1
3.define 'New End Point' of segment 1
4.click 'add batch', on top right of the UI
5.click 'Clear', on bottom of the UI
6.define 'New Start Point' of segment 2
7.define 'New End Point' of segment 2
8.click 'add batch', on top right of the UI
9.make sure the 'link' button on top right of the UI disabled(black, NOT yello) and click 'Start Batch'
10.that's all
