Than you for the new update 1.7.9 with keyboard shortcuts
They work well especially frame by frame and Cut start/end are a lot easier to use
If your making further changes can you consider a second much jump in addition to ALT (DIR)
Perhaps CTRL (DIR) jumping 1 or 2 minutes

The keyboard shortcuts added in version 1.7.9 are indeed very helpful in finding the right place in a video! Thanks for adding them!
Two more keyboard shortcuts would help even more!
1. As Battler has suggested adding CTRL> and CTRL< that would jump 1 or 2 minutes backward or forward would be nice.
2. I would also REALLY appreciate a "manual time adjustment" in addition where you could edit the time directly to jump to a specific video point (like a known chapter break time)!
Would you consider adding a feature to click (or right click) on the time display and then type in the numbers directly (or scroll to them) to jump right to that location? That would be a big time saver!!!!

Dear users:
We now have a new version in which you can go to user specified time code(by clicking on the timecode box, or CTRL-G). And, there are two new shortcuts ALT-UP and ALT-DOWN for long jump.

after a short test in a few minutes I want to say: It works good.
The Shortcuts are good to work with it. Thanks for that.
The manual goto with ctrl G to enter a time code #:##:## is quite good, too.
