How to optimize quality for converting to DVD

I want to build a DVD form *ts videos. When I convert it I can change the Bps but I have wait until the video is converted before I can see is the 4.7GB optimal used. Is there a posibility to check the size before converting?

Quite a reasonable request. We have discussed it with our developers.
Since we are now using VBR mode in video converting, so it is unlikey to know the resulting size before the process over.
We may add an option for CBR for this situation, perhaps we can then fullfil this feature request.
We will keep you posted about the progress.
