No time codes are displayed at SmartCutter v.1.5.0

Post by snipsnip »

I hoped so far, the bugs in SmartCutter would be reduced over time, so I could buy SmartCutter, but unfortunately there are more and more.

In version 1.5.0 I'm missing all the time codes for start and end points, such as those shown in the tutorial on the home page. In the batch list they are also missing, but there is only "--: --: --: ---" displayed at Start Point and End Point. If I load a project to the batch list only one line is displayed: "--: --: --: ---3--: --: --: ---8:_242" for Start Point and "SMART CUT PS/TS" for End Point.

SmartCutter with this representation has become unusable!

Note:
My system is Windows 7 with ATI HD 5670.
If the display would work like in the tutorial, the new representation would be very useful.

Dear snipsnip:
Thanks for your message.

We've made major changes to the UI operations.
Currently each item of the batch list is a project(not a segment any more!), then each item(project) may contain multiple segments, which means multiple start points and end points. You can get these start and end points by 'output points' context menu. The start point and end point columns in the batch list are only for back-compliant usage, they will be cancelled in the future version.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.

Do you mean the context menu when I click the right mouse button in the batch list? Thereby nothing is displayed on the screen. I can create only one file. This is impractical. And the negative values for start and end points are correct? The length of the source file is 1h 4min!

item 1: 00:00:00:000 - 00:01:20:640 G:/Recorded TV/Das_Erste_ARD.ts -7:-31:-18:-382 -7:-29:-57:-742 SMART CUT PS/TS Smart Video Smart Audio
item 2: 00:01:20:640 - 00:02:44:259 G:/Recorded TV/Das_Erste_ARD.ts -7:-28:-51:-922 -7:-27:-28:-302 SMART CUT PS/TS Smart Video Smart Audio
item 3: 00:02:44:259 - 00:04:10:701 G:/Recorded TV/Das_Erste_ARD.ts -7:-26:-10:-62 -7:-24:-43:-622 SMART CUT PS/TS Smart Video Smart Audio
item 4: 00:04:10:701 - 00:05:26:720 G:/Recorded TV/Das_Erste_ARD.ts -7:-23:-17:-402 -7:-22:-1:-382 SMART CUT PS/TS Smart Video Smart Audio

Why are displayed on all images in your tutorial start and end points, but not for me?

But they are still used for the visual control while changing the order to eg segment 4 place before segment 2!
