Save Project Feature

Post by dellsam34 »

Two hours of freaking cutting and adding to the list is gone when the program crashed, a project save option must be added, this realy sucks.

Dear dellsam34:
Thanks for your message.

'project save option'
On the list, click the right mouse button, and choose the context menu item 'save project' then you can save current list into a project file.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.

In 1.5.0 is it possible that this feature is gone? Or how is it accomplished?
It seems to me that "Save Proj." at the bottom only saves the current file. And "Save" in the context menu of the batch list only saves the selected entry. Is that correct? Is there a way to save a whole batch? I liked that much better... :(

Dear Achim:
Thanks for your message.

'And "Save" in the context menu of the batch list only saves the selected entry.'
Each item of the batch list is now a project, a project means multiple defined segments(cut and end points) of a file.

'"Save Proj." at the bottom only saves the current file.'
Now you can define multiple segments on the time line, so the project works.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.

In 1.7 is it possible that this feature is gone? :(

It seems to me that "Save Proj." at the bottom do not that in my understanding of "Save Project" and "Save Batch" in the context menu of the batch list only saves the selected entry. Is that correct?

I want to save the file and the complete batchfile.

And on top: I want to work respective to re-edit the batch-file if I see a mistake in the cutted file. I liked that much better... :)

And I want that Smart Cutter saves the project automatically in a project-file within the in-and-out-cuts.

The filename could be took by "filename.mp4" to "filename.prj". And in the same way the output-filename could be named to "filename.cut.mp4". So there are no collisions betwenn the different files.

What do you think about these suggestions?

Thanks

Dear Carsten:
'"Save Project" and "Save Batch"'
"Save Batch" does save all the batch list content.
"Save Project" saves defined segments on current time line.
Actually each batch list item is a single project. When 'Add Batch' put defined segments on current time line into batch list, this actually means you put a project into the batch list as a new item.

're-edit the batch-file'
Already sent you an email about how to do this.

'The filename could be took by "filename.mp4" to "filename.prj".'
Already done in recent versions.
