I think there will be no fix for your problem because there was no fix for 1.9.4 over the last 2 years.
In https://fame-ring.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... e8457d1dda I have described the same problem in 2016.
Maybe you can use the same workaround I have mentioned there using the task manager to set the affinity mask of the process to use only 8 or 12 cores of your CPU.

9980xe (18core 38 Thread) -> CPU Affinity 27 Thread Setting => => 27 Thread Activation = 7ffffff


smart.exe Shortcut icon - right click - Property - Target(T): C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start /affinity 7ffffff smart.exe

It works very well. (smart.exe = It only works up to 27 threads)
