crash in v1.8.6

Hello,

after I installed SmartCutter v1.8.6 I can't save a file. The program crashes after opening the "writing" window, but before writing anything (the resultant file has 0 bytes length:)

Before, I was using v1.8.4 which used to work. SmartCutter was always "crashy", but this is the worst one yet.

What is the OS you are using? Is it Xp, Vista or Win7?

We tried Windows 7 (64bit.) but did not re-produce the problem.
Are you sure the same video file works for Smart Cutter v1.8.4? If you can try that for us, that will be very helpful. Here is the address to download version 1.8.4.

In the Options dialog of v1.8.4, please turn off the box 'Enable Full-Screen' before you test it.

I have the same Problem like the Theme-Starter also using 1.8.6 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
I'm using the Install-Version of 1.8.6.
I tested on 1.8.4 you provided and used the same TS-File.
Everything is working fine.

Hi,

in 1.8.7 I have the same Problem like in 1.8.6.
When I start transcoding, the transcoding window opens up, but without choosing new path/filename.
After 1s the programm stopps responding.

Could you please upload a original video sample showing the problem to our ftp server for a test?

It would be better if the sample file size is less than 50 MB.

before uploading sample, please create sub-directory with your name under the root, then upload sample to this sub-directory.

FULL priviliged --- mkdir, read, write, remove
Will be helpful to limit the sample file size under 50MB.
