Re: Where are the converted files stored?

We tried many times, when 'Use source folder as destination directory' is deactivated, and path in 'Frame Accurate Movie EngineeRing' is writable, say C:/Download/, the cut movie is always written to this path C:/Download/. Try it again with a blank in the path name, say C:/Fame Test/. Look also to...

Re: Smart Cutter 1.3.4 - many bugs

2. If conversion is stopped ... the program crashes This should have been fixed in the new version. May be you can have it a try on your end and tell us the result. It is fixed. But the message box 'MESSAGE FROM FAME' shows a wrong message: 'Transcodung complete!' She schould be called: 'Converting...

Re: Movie isn't cut

After each transcoding, the movie will be reopened, and the start and end points will be reset(previous settings lost), the time stamps for 'NEW START POINT' and 'NEW END POINT' should be reset to zero, but they did not, so the problem arise. I think it would be better, the movie wouldn't reopen or...

Re: Where are the converted files stored?

So, does this problem still exsits on your end? Yes, indeed. I have investigated once more and found out: The error is independent of whether the source file is on a DVD or a hard disk. The error appears because SC is not able to read names with a blank correctly. I had chosen as destination folder...

Re: Faulty project files

This only occurs when 'all of the project lines' have the same movie as the source input, with the option 'Skip' activated. Isn't it? Yes, 'Skip' only activated at producing the project file. The error appears after loading the projekt file and executing 'Record List!', with option 'Rename' activat...

Start and end-points aren't trustworthy.

Because the indicated values of NEW START POINT and NEW END POINT did not lead to the expected results, I have carried out several tests. 1 I start Smart Cutter and load a file. 1.1 I click to the red point button. Error: Although the values are shown for start and end-point with 00:00:00:000, a new...

Strange behavior when saving the converted files.

Since the 3 options 'Action when duplicate name met while transcodingr' provide very mysterious results, I have carried out extensive tests. At these tests the add list contained 4 lines. These 4 lines may not have been produced under the option 'Skip'! Otherwise the same happens as described in thi...

Faulty project files

In case of the activated option 'Skip' project files are produced faultily. If such a project file is read and 'Record List!' is executed with deactivated 'link', thus only 1 file is produced for any of the project lines. This is independent of whether one of the options 'Rename', 'Replace' or 'Skip...

I want in addition the name of the loaded file as default name.

I also want exactly the same at 'Record List!' if 'link' is activated.
