I have noticed that Smart Cutter is only able to open m2ts files when their video format is AVCHD, but not when it is VC-1. Please I would like to know if this video format will be supported in a future release of Smart Cutter.

Dear joergg, while waiting for a new version to solve your problem, please try the version 1.8.2. I am working now with this version and it works fine good, even with files coming from HD DVB-T broadcasting (TVE-HD from Spain, format ts 1280x720 resolution)

I have tested my problem with your new version 1.8.2 and now everything is OK. Now I can cut my recorder videos from the very beginning if I wish and the resulting video is playable without problem.
